Delivery options
Local pickup
- we get the semen prepped and ready for you to pick up take to your vet for the procedure. If you are traveling from a distance we can help set up an appointment at our local veterinarian office.
Drop-off
- you drop off your female and we keep her here and we do natural breeding or A.I. (artificial insemination)
- you bring your female for natural breeding and take her home (we recommend at total of two to three natural ties)
We charge a $100 service fee at time of drop-off for females that are staying at our facility. If you are leaving your female bring food, blankets and toys any thing to help them feel more relaxed and comfortable.
We need her recent shot records and a negative Brucellosis test done within a month of drop-off or visit. Around day 9-10 after first sighting of blood is when we like to have the females dropped off if they are staying at our facility.
We will do our best to make sure the natural breeding can happen but this isn’t always an option. We offer A.I. in those cases and depending what breed your female is we recommend a vet doing the procedure. We have a couple veterinarians that we use for this that we have had great success with.
Shipped semen
- we offer overnight shipping of prepped semen to anywhere in the continental USA, contact Robin for more info
Pricing
- Progesterone testing – $40
- Brucellosis testing – $40
- Pregnancy testing – $25 (at 30 days)
- Artificial insemination – $150 (two procedures)
- Semen prep with extender for pickup – $50
- Semen prep & shipped – $400 -$450
- Delivery of semen to local vet – $75
