A Little Bit About Bernedoodle Puppies
I’m a Bernedoodle and here are some general characteristics you may want to know.
How do they do with children?
Bernedooodles make great family pets, they get along with anyone including young children. Their outgoing natures, great temperaments and desire to please make them a great addition to any home.
How is their barking level?
With early consistent training, your Bernedoodle puppy will grow to be a sweet and happy dog. They love being with the people they love. Every dog has a different personality while some may not bark at all, some may. Again this comes back to temperament testing and what traits are prominent.
How often should they be groomed?
So depending on the coat of your dog and whether you like long or short coats will determine how often you get your dog groomed.
Consistent brushing is key with every coat.
- Wavy coats – 10-14 weeks
- Curly coats – 6-12 weeks
- Straight coats – 10-16 weeks
What’s their life expectancy?
A standard size Bernedoodle can live up to 10-15 years and a mini Bernedoodle can live 14-16 years while a tiny can live up to 16-18.
